Jyotisar

One the purest view in the district, Jyotisar is a quiet town which is located along the Pehowa road of Kurukshetra where the first holy Bhagwat Gita was delivered in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. Before the starting of this epic war, Mighty Arjuna’s wavering wills was enticed by Krishna, who was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. KALPANA CHAWLA MEMORIAL PLANETARIUM, KURUKSHETRA

This memorial is named after the brave daughter of Haryana and a great Astronaut Dr, Kalpana Chawla. It is located in the middle of Pehowa road and jyotisar. This plantation is mainly prepared for providing non-formal education in astronomy. It was made on 24th July 2007 by the state council of Haryana for technology and science. This plantation has exhibited both inside and outside the main building.
